Your Voice Your Decision
Thank you to all those who supported us in our bid for funding to provide a dedicated and safe area for in-line skating at Sprowston Recreation Ground.
£25,000 was made available to organisations in Beeston St Andrew, Old Catton, Spixworth and Sprowston. A number of schemes were put forward for consideration and following a short listing exercise six were presented at the Your Voice Your Decision event where the audience decided who would receive funding, as a result the Council was awarded £4,000.

Drainage Works at Greenborough Road & Greenwood Way
Works will start week commencing Monday 4 January 2010 to improve the surface water drainage to alleviate flooding and will take approximately ten weeks to complete.
A footway closure will be in place for the first two weeks of the scheme while works take place on the detached path between Greenwood Way and Harrisons Drive. The diversion will be signed from Greenwood Way, Greenborough Road, along a detached path between Greenborough Road and Harrisons Drive and vice versa. As Greenborough Road and Greenwood Way only have one way of access a road closure cannot be used as no alternative route is available, this means access to properties will be affected as works will have to be made safe and plant moved before vehicles can pass the works. Access to properties inside the works will be maintained but it is likely that there will be some disruption.
